EPW - Unsigned Swiss, minute repeater, 46mm, 18K gold OF original case with initials to rear, small Jürgensen-style lips, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel and counterpoise, gilt mvt, 24-33J, wolf's tooth winding, gilt mvt, s#13158 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 44.5 dwt (69.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, setting mechanism occasionally with some stiffness as minute hand passes approximately 20 minute position, good repeat function and tone, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some typical mild fine to micro-fine scratches, ratchet wheel bridge with some haze; virtually flawless dial with minuscule edge nick under bezel near 7:30, few mild small fine to micro-fine scratches within seconds-register; excellent hour hand and seconds-hand, fine minute hand with oxide to tip; case shows little wear, micro-fine scratches to exterior, cuvette with fine scratch extending partway to center from a slipped past opening, lower portion of repeat slide with small mar or ding, few small nicks elsewhere to case exterior, protruding ding to cuvette above position of mvt's click screw, good engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows little wear; glass crystal with few small nicks, a finish bubble toward lower-left perimeter.
